After many years of dedicated service, our long-time friend and colleague, Karen Armstrong, officially retired on December 1, 2025.
Karen has been an integral part of our firm for decades and has served clients in the legal field for nearly 50 years! She spent 8 years with Schoenbeck Law from 1996 to 2004, then returned in 2010 and remained until her retirement. Prior to joining our firm, Karen spent more than 20 years working as a legal secretary at several downtown Minneapolis law firms.
Karen’s career as a highly accomplished paralegal, particularly specializing in the medical and subrogation aspects of our files, has been a great asset. She achieved national certifications as a Professional Legal Secretary and Professional Paralegal, and is one of the few paralegals to have presented to attorneys at the South Dakota State Bar Convention.
We are grateful for Karen’s many years of service, and she will be missed. Please join us in wishing her the very best in retirement and in this next chapter.
