For 12 years, we have been representing the Stablers in their ongoing battle with the First State Bank of Roscoe and its president, John Beyers.  The earlier decisions appear elsewhere on this website.  On January 30, 2019, a panel of the Eighth Circuit Court of Appeals unanimously affirmed the decision of Federal District Judge Roberto Lange, and the Honorable Charles Nail, Jr., the Bankruptcy Judge for the District of South Dakota, awarding our clients attorney’s fees and punitive damages in the amount of $209,605.70.  With only a motion for appellate attorney’s fees pending, this long-running saga is coming to a close.  It takes tenacious counsel to get justice in cases like these.
